SHIFT HAPPENS
I knew I had to find a way to bring paint back into my life but I wanted it to be a representation of my values. I wanted to spread positivity, teach my children about expression, support inspiring nonprofits, and showcase courage in starting something new. The irony? The inspiration I needed had been there for years, just waiting to be re-discovered in a new light. I found it right under my fingertips.
I fell in love with painting in college where some of my favorite moments included candles, Incubus and a paint brush in hand. It was therapy during a very transformative time. Fast forward a decade, a few marketing jobs, a marriage, two wonderful children and a pandemic later - it was time to pick the brush back up.
As I was “Chiming In” one day, it just hit me… My family had been practicing this mindful tradition all my life. I could share this practice with others by dedicating myself to creating love-filled, handmade word collections meant to inspire!
It’s been a wonderful ride so far, filled with messy tables and curious kids, but i’ve found my rhythm again and I couldn’t be more grateful.
